Donald Trump is about to release a two-page document that claims his personal wealth has grown to more than $9 billion.
A source close to the announcement says Trump is prepared to make a “major announcement on Tuesday.
There has been talk that Donald Trump will launch a 2016 Presidential campaign, although he has remained mum on the details of that possibility. News of Donald Trumps personal wealth was first reported by the Washington Post on Monday.
The document will be released as “part of his likely entry into the race for the Republican presidential nomination.”
Donald Trump has said in the past that he has not ruled out a run at the White House, although he has never followed through on a bid for the US presidency.
The Washington Post says the two-page document will “provide a valuation of his hotels and other properties, … show hundreds of millions in cash on hand and an outline of his debt.”
Forbes in May 2015 valued Donald Trump at $4.1 billion, making him the 405th richest person in the world. If Trump is actually worth $9 billion he would be the 142nd richest person on the list.
